Joint exercises of the law-enforcement bodies in combating terror on water transport have started in the port of Rostov, reported on Friday Alexander Turinsky, head of the press service of the Federal Security Service Department for the Rostov Region. According to him, in the course of these exercises it is planned to practise interaction between the units of law-enforcers, especially in releasing hostages captured by terrorists on a ship of the "river-sea" class, in ensuring the security of other ships, the work of water transport and citizens nearby the captured ship, in liquidating the danger of explosion and in preventing an economic and an ecological damage.
