There are currently five companies using Swiss investments in Prymorye, and the territory has bright prospects for cooperation with Switzerland, Swiss Ambassador to Russia Walter Fetscherin told Primorye Vice Governor Igor Ivanov Thursday, RIA Novosti correspondent reports. Ivanov and Fetscherin discussed ways of expanding trade and economic cooperation of Switzerland and Primorye. Switzerland is one of the leading Russia's trade and economic partners, Fetscherin noted. About 15 per cent of accumulated foreign investments fall on Switzerland, ranking after the USA and Great Britain. Swiss investments in Russia total about 600 million dollars. The meeting of the Swiss diplomat and the Primorye Vice Governor was held within the framework of the international round-table on the interaction between the federal authorities and the members of the Russian Federation in trade policy.
