Ukraine’s President Leonid Kuchma claimed that he would agree with the results of the investigation of the Russian Tu-154 passenger jet crash no matter what is the outcome of the investigation. The Ukrainian leader told journalists in Kiev that he would agree with the results of the commission that has Ukrainian members in its staff too.
In the meantime, Russia’s Office of Prosecutor General informed about the preliminary results of the medical expertise of the people whose dead bodies were found at the site of the tragedy. Like the office stated, the people died as a result of barotrauma.
Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Sergey Fridinsky also said that there were also mechanical injuries on the bodies. The blood of the bodies contained carbon monoxide, which testified to the fact there was fire aboard the plane. The investigation continues.
