The trade volume between Russia and the Czech republic reached $1.2 billion in the first half of this year, which is 15 per cent more as compared to the corresponding period last year. According to forecasts of experts, the volume of Russian exports to the Czech republic will increase 15 per cent and imports to Russia will go up 30 per cent this year. The most important joint projects of the two countries are the production of car tires in Tolyatti, the production of sanitary equipment in the Moscow region and gas stoves in Tula. Other significant projects include the construction of a gas-processing factory in the Komi republic and the upgrading of elevators in Moscow.
