Russian President Meets With Federal Tax Police Service Head, Is To Hold Meeting With Defense Minister

The Federal Tax Police Service has completed the work for forming tax police structures in the federal districts, Mikhail Fradkov, the head of the Service, said to the Russian President on Thursday. RIA Novosti was told about it by press secretary of the head of state Alexei Gromov. According to him, Mikhail Fradkov informed the President about the measures for strengthening the work of tax policemen in the federal districts. The director of the Service pointed out that special attention was paid to the development of the international activity of the Service, taking into consideration the importance of the work in the channels of foreign economic contacts. Alexei Gromov also said that on Thursday the Russian President would hold a working meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov.
