The administration of Russia's Maritime Territory (Far East) signed a memorandum on business cooperation in Vladivostok on Thursday with the North Korean people's committee of the Rason trade zone. A RIA Novosti correspondent reports that the memorandum followed long negotiations on how to increase the level of trade and economic cooperation between the territory and neighbouring North Korea. During the talks, the sides had expressed their mutual interest and desire to facilitate the development and expansion of trade-economic relations to cooperate in the stable development of the Maritime Territory and the Rason trade zone. According to the memorandum, cooperation will be seen in the following branches: reciprocal trade, effective use of natural resources, improving transportation links and perfecting information exchanges.
