Experts Predict Long Consolidation Process On Russian Stock Market

The course of trading on the RTS and MICEX over the last several days showed that Russian traders still feel optimistic about the future. Their interest in securities increased even though the volume of trading remains low. At the same time, share prices didn't go below some level. In other words, even though negative news came from abroad, traders continue showing interest in the stock market. Recently some securities were traded rather actively, but not aggressively. Thus, it can be assumed that traders have long positions now and are hoping that prices will grow soon after the situation on world markets stabilizes and foreign investors notice that the Russian stock market remained stable during the US crisis and regardless of negative news from abroad. Some operators feel that no upward tendency will occur on the Russian market this year.
