First Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Vyacheslav Trubnikov believes that the search for the solution of the Karabakh problem "is on the right track." He spoke to journalists in the capital of Portugal, where he arrived to participate in consultations of the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group for Nagorny Karabakh. The Russian diplomat emphasised "the single approach" to the problem of Nagorny Karabakh, which the group co-chairmen - Russia, U.S., and France - have worked out. Commenting on the statement by Azerbaijan's President Geydar Aliyev on the possible use of force by Baku to settle the Nagorny Karabakh conflict, Mr. Trubnikov said that it "impedes the constructive progress of our work" on this issue.
