We have foreseen this, said the president, opening the Kremlin conference with the cabinet on Monday. The head of state reminded the audience that the government, which had expected the drop in the oil prices, had introduced respective amendments to the draft budget of 2002 before the second reading. The government should be ready to adjust the country to the recent changes, and there is every opportunity for this, said Vladimir Putin.
