In Lipetsk, (in the south of the European part of Russia), participants in the meeting devoted to the 84th anniversary of the October Revolution burnt in the presence of head of regional administration Oleg Korolyov the state flag of the Russian Federation. As the press-service of the city council reported, the meeting organised by the local branch of the Union of Patriotic Forces and Lipetsk Communists gathered about 200 people. The organisers of the action spoke against "the anti-popular Putin regime," as they put it, and urged the resignation of the Russian government. The protesters also spoke against the presidential package of bills, the new Labor Code and the Land Code. Head of the Lipetsk Region administration Oleg Korolyov who is simultaneously deputy chairman of the Federation Council urged patriots of Russia "for active actions."
