Bin Laden claims to have nuclear weapons

One day after it was revealed that 90% of the American public were in favour of a nuclear attack on Afghanistan, Osama Bin Laden claims to have nuclear and chemical weapons.

The source of this information is an interview with the Pakistani daily, Dawn. Bin Laden agreed to meet Hamid Gul Mir, the editor of Dawn, at an undisclosed location, to which Mir travelled blindfolded by a 4-wheel drive jeep on November 7th.

In the interview, Osama Bin Laden claimed that Al Qaeda has nuclear and chemical weapons and is ready to deploy them.

He also claimed that the list of “hijackers” issued by the US authorities in connection with the September 11th attacks was composed of Moslem passengers, not terrorists. However, during the rest of the interview, there are various indications that Osama Bin Laden was very much behind the September 11th attack.

Justifying the accusation that Moslems were killed at the WTC, Bin Laden answered: “If bandits barge into a home and hold a child hostage, then the child’s father can attack the bandits and in that attack even the child may get hurt”.

“The September 11th attacks were not targeted at women and children. The real targets were America’s icons of military and economic power”.

Regarding his targets, Osama Bin Laden regards the American public in general as a legitimate objective. He claimed that in paying taxes to a government which supports Israel, which in turn massacres Moslems and occupies their lands, building colonies, forcing them from their homes and not allowing them whatsoever rights, in electing a Congress which passes laws supporting Israel, the population of the United States is contributing directly towards its own vulnerability. As such, it is a target.

“I ask the American people to force their government to give up anti-Moslem policies. The American people had risen against their government’s war in Vietnam. They must do the same today”.

Bin Laden claims that any attack on those who support the massacre of Moslems is a justified Jihad, a defensive Holy War to defend the Moslem people and the Moslem land. “This is a simple formula that even an American child can understand. This is a formula of live and let live”.

Regarding the issue of the much-discussed possibility of Al-Qaeda having weapons of mass destruction, Osama Bin Laden stated “If America used chemical or nuclear weapons against us, then we may retort with chemical and nuclear weapons. We have the weapons as a deterrent”.

More ominously, he declared “If the Americans have charges against me, we too have a sheet against them”.
