Vladimir Putin Assigns Priority To Service Personnel Social Security Problem

Vladimir Putin is sure that the reform of the Armed Forces is not possible without solving the problem of the social security of service personnel. "The problem of the social security of servicemen is the most important and crucial aspect of the military reform," Vladimir Putin told the annual meeting of the Armed Forces' General Staff. According to him, apart from more substantial payments to servicemen, tough housing deadlines are required. "It is senseless to speak about the Armed Forces reform without solving this problem," the President said. The Head of State believes that moving from prolonged discussions to the practical efforts is fundamental. "The basic military-political problem of maintaining a balance of strategic possibilities is being successfully solved," Vladimir Putin said.
