President Putin To Discuss World Oil Market Situation With Government

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hear Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov's report on the situation on the world oil markets at a regular meeting with the government, he said in his opening remarks at the cabinet meeting on Monday. Mr. Putin reminded the cabinet that on Monday morning Mr. Kasyanov had met with the heads of several Russian oil companies. Mr. Putin said that he had asked the prime minister to report on the agreements reached during the meeting and the government's plans for the oil sector.
