More information about the plane crash in New York

The passenger airliner that recently crashed in New York Queens borough was making the 587 flight from New York to Santo-Domingo (the Dominican Republic). It was an A300 airtliner and not Boeing 767, as was stated earlier. CNN reported that the liner had a capacity of 220 to 360 passengers. It is not yet known how many people were on board the plane.

The American mass media informed that several apartment buildings were set on fire and that there is very thick smoke billowing from the crash site. The airbus crashed a couple of minutes after takeoff from the international airport Kennedy in New York; therefore, the tanks of the jet were filled with fuel. For the time being, it is not known whether it was an act of terrorism or a tragic accident. It should be stated here that the USA authorities warned the American population about new acts of terror, which were being prepared, but nothing was said about what to expect and when.
