Russian Government Decides To Re-Distribute Funds Within Items Of 2001 Budget

The Russian government passed a decision to re-distribute 12.5 billion rubles saved as a result of execution of the state debt servicing item within the 2001 budget items, Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin reported. The funds are expected to be channelled to satisfy Armed Forces' needs, redeem all debts to housing and utility services, and support Federation members. Specifically, funds will be allocated to buy apartments for military servicemen and create warehouses for ammunition and hardware. An additional 1.32 billion rubles will be allocated to support Federation members.
