A Syrian citizen was detained at an airport in Krasnoyarsk (regional center in East Siberia) on suspicion of rare bird smuggling, reported the Krasnoyarsk Federal Security Service (FSB) regional department press service Friday. Earlier the Ural FSB regional department officers put the Syrian on the wanted list all over Russia on suspicion of being involved in Red Book birds smuggling, the saker falcon, in particular. The detained will be deported from Krasnoyarsk to Yekaterinburg (regional center in the Urals) where criminal proceedings will be launched against him.
