Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov has charged the government to urgently examine the documents dealing with humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan. The prime minister said this on Tuesday during a conference with deputy prime ministers and key ministers convened to discuss humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. It was reported during the conference that tents, cloth, and food for 22,000 people had earlier been delivered to Afghanistan, while extra batches of medicine and a field hospital could be sent to Afghanistan soon. A total of 340 automobiles are engaged in delivery of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. In addition, participants in the conference discussed the re-opening of the Russian embassy in Kabul.
