President Putin Visits Russia's Largest Gas Field

On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Russia's largest gas field called Zapolyarnoye. The ambient temperature in the area was -33°C. Mr. Putin was dressed casually, in a sweater and thick jacket. Upon arrival, Russia's president went straight to the comprehensive gas preparation facility. Mr. Putin examined the gas torch, drying and regeneration facilities, and the control centre. After that, the Russian leader visited the residential area of the gas field, which is currently under construction. He took a look at the dormitory, which will soon accept residents. The president also visited the construction site of a sports club.
