ZDRAVEXPO-Sibir 2001 Exhibition Opens In Novosibirsk

ZdravExpo-Sibir 2001, the first official exhibition organised in the Siberian Federal District by the Russian health ministry, opened in Novosibirsk, the largest city of the Asian part of Russia, on Thursday. The exposition features 79 companies and organisations from Novosibirsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Barnaul and other cities. The program of the three-day event includes a scientific and practical conference called Health Protection Innovations, reported the Social Information Department of Sibirskoye Zdorovye /Siberian Health/ Association, where 36 specialists will deliver medical research reports. Organisers expect the conference to reflect all the vital problems and latest achievements of Russian medicine. ZdravExpo is a three-year project envisaging annual ministerial exhibitions in each of the country's federal districts.
