Head Of IMF Mission Arrives In Moscow

Deputy Director of IMF Second European Department Gerard Belanger, who heads the Fund's delegation, is to arrive in Moscow on Saturday. The head of the IMF mission will start the main part of consultations on budget-policy issues with Russian economic departments on Monday, December 3. In the course of the main part of consultations to last till December 11 issues of the current state of the Russian economy will be discussed. The sides will also exchange opinions on the key macroeconomic indicators' dynamics in Russia. The main part of consultations was preceded by preliminary meetings between IMF mission experts, who had arrived in Moscow November 27, and representatives of a number of Russian ministries.
