The Sibneft oil company increased its crude oil exports by 30%, i.e. from 5.587m tons in 2000 to 7.356m in 2001, a source in the press service of the company reported to RosBusinessConsulting. The average production rate of Sibneft's oil wells went up 14% last year from 11.9 tons to 13.6 tons. Drilling volumes were increased by 32%, i.e. from 740,000 meters to 980,000 meters. The number of hydrofracturing operations went up 37% from 258 in 2000 to 354 in 2001. The volume of oil refining was raised by 6% with gasoline production amounting to 3.237m tons, diesel production - 4.525m tons, black oil production - 1.962m tons and aircraft fuel - 615,000 tons. The number of Sibneft's employees was reduced by 22% from 37,760 people to 29,300 people.
