Commander-in-chief of the Navy Vladimir Kuroyedov has gone on a working trip to the Pacific Fleet, his aide Captain 1st rank Igor Dygalo said on Tuesday. A visit by Vladimir Kuroyedov to the main base of the Pacific Fleet, Vladivostok, is planned. The purpose of the commander-in-chief's trip is to check the preparedness of the staff and forces of the Fleet, as well as of the coastal infrastructure for the new training year. Vladimir Kuroyedov will hear out reports of the commander of the Pacific Fleet and of the formations and groupings of the Fleet about the organisation of combat training and of the training process in the new year. Dygalo recalled that the commander-in-chief had earlier visited the Northern and Baltic Fleets where he had inspected the work of the staffs to organise the combat training of the forces.
