President Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Prime Minister Kasyanov Tuesday. Press secretary of the Russian president Alexei Gromov told the press that the meeting focused on the discussion of the Russian economic situation in January. The Prime Minister noted that the collection of federal budget revenues would be provided in accordance with planned indicators. Putin and Kasyanov also discussed in detail the pace of expert talks on Russia's entering the World Trade Organisation. Moreover, the premier informed the president about the guidelines in banking reform strategy signed by Mikhail Kasyanov and Central Bank chairman Viktor Gerashchenko on December 30, 2001.
