An incident took place in the Japanese town of Kyoto today. A terrorist rushed into the studio of the NHK company and took one woman as a hostage. This was his way to protest against the anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan. As RIA Novosti reported, the terrorist had written a statement about it and gave it to the employees of the television company. The terrorist yielded a knife. NHK reported that the terrorist used some chemical substances while breaking into the television studio, which brings up the idea of the well-known AUM Shinrikyo sect, which became notorious for its gas attacks in the metro of Tokyo. However, the criminal, who asked to have a personal meeting with the Japanese premier Koidzumi, has not been identified yet, so it is too early to tell if he belongs to a certain terrorist organization. It should be mentioned that the terrorist act in Kyoto was performed after the Japanese government announced the financial help that it is going to give to Afghanistan, a total of $50 million.
