Russian steel makers and government officials said in interviews they were furious at the decision of the European Commission (EC) to restrict Russian steel imports to last year's level, and to expand the list of restricted import products to include boron-alloyed steel. Steel makers said that the introduction of changes in the quota arrangements was a violation of agreements that had been reached in negotiations in early December. Moscow sources said a group of Russian officials would be holding new talks in Brussels this week, the Russia Journal reported.
