TV-6 general meeting to be held

Staffers of TV-6, the Moscow channel, closed on Monday night by a decision of the Arbitration Court, are due to hold a general meeting, said one of the channel's executives. According to him, all staffers of the company preparing current news programmes continue working. The journalists are "optimistic, at least they do not give up", the company official said. Meanwhile, Ekho Moskvy, a non-state radio station said it would broadcast TV-6 news programmes on its waves since today.
