Specific proposals on life support in the Kaliningrad region should be worked out by a Russia-EU summit coming in Moscow soon, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said at a news conference summing up his working visit to Spain.
The Minister made it clear that these specific proposals should deal with the visa regime, transit, energy supplies and fishing.
The Russian minister added that at a meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar he had given him a personal message from Russian President Vladimir Putin, which expressed Russia's stance on cooperation with the European Union.
The Russian minister stressed that Moscow highly praised the fact that Spain attached great importance to the strengthening of strategic partnership with Russia.
