The Russian government will consider the investment program of the Russian gas industry for 2002 today. Deputy Economy Minister Andrey Sharonov will make a report at this meeting. For instance, Russia's gas monopolist Gazprom is going to spend 161 billion rubles ($5.32 million) for the investment program in 2002. In addition, the Cabinet will discuss a number of bills concerning employment issues.
