Donald Rumsfeld, US Secretary of Defence, highly appreciated Russian support of anti-terror action in Afghanistan. Russia was amply offering intelligence information and opened its territory for US air transits to Central Asia, he said in an interview with Baltimore Sun, which the paper carries in a retelling today. As far as Mr. Rumsfeld knows, Russia has not forwarded military advisers to Afghanistan after October 7, when armed action started on the anti-terror operation, he added.
