A Russo-Polish business forum opened in Kaliningrad on Friday. Greeting the participants in the forum were Kaliningrad governor Vladimir Yegorov and Polish vice premier Marek Pol, who had earlier arrived in the city. Last year, they said, cooperation between Poland and this region of Russia saw positive development, and this year it must further develop. Escorting the Polish vice premier to Kaliningrad was a large group of Polish entrepreneurs. The latter included energy experts, representatives of large construction companies, banks, aircraft building enterprises, and other sectors of the economy and business. They are interested in the targeted federal programme of the Kaliningrad region's development, Marek Pol told journalists. Early this year Poland will start a new stage of cooperation with the Kaliningrad region. We should live like real neighbours, and mutually advantageous cooperation should be developing in all areas, said the vice premier.
