The number of Moscow residents who will declare their incomes for 2001 is forecasted to increase four times and compared to 2000 and reach 800,000, an official from the Moscow tax service reported at a press conference today. He noted that a rise in the number of tax declarations in Moscow will be due to the introduction of some reduction in taxes for charitable activities, education payments, health services and purchases of medicines. Moscow tax departments will receive tax declarations for 2001 from January 3 to May 3, 2002.
