By the start of 2002, Russia and NATO will have formulated specific proposals on new cooperation patterns, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said at a news conference following a session of the Russia-NATO Joint Permanent Council. According to him, the new patterns will be filled with realistic content. Ivanov stressed that Russia "is in a most constructive way ready to advance in this direction."
