In the future, Gazprom will not be the only company, involved in gas production in Russia; its share in the structure of Russian gas production will be falling, member of the Board of Directors of Russia's gas giant Gazprom Boris Fyodorov reported. In his opinion, Gazprom is to choose a different strategy. One should think not only about physical volume, but also about profitability, dividends and capitalization. At the same time, Fyodorov believes that one cannot avoid reforming Gazprom. "Anyway, Gazprom does not have tens billion dollars for investing in production. And one company does not need to grip the entire production," the member of the holding's Board of Directors stated.
At the same time, Fyodorov considers it premature to talk about the division of Gazprom, about separating the transportation system from production. He suggests creating a presidential commission, which would collect proposals and debate the reforms.
