The board of the Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry will meet today to discuss the results of the ministry's work in 2002 and tasks for 2003. Participants of the meeting will consider administrative reforms in Russia and possible ways to conduct them. In addition, the ministry's board will pay special attention to outlining basic priorities in Russia's foreign trade relations for this year, including tariff policies, state support to exports and deeper economic integration with the CIS and the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC).
At this meeting, the board of the Economy Ministry will receive a medium-term program on the reduction in the tax burden in Russia in 2003-2005 and revised data on Russia's social and economic development in 2002.
