War in Iraq Will Not Prevent George Bush from Visiting Saint Petersburg

War in Iraq will not prevent George Bush from visiting Saint Petersburg. This announcement was made by US General Consul in Saint Petersburg Morris Hughes, who spoke to journalists at the 300 Years of Saint Petersburg International Press Centre today.

Mr Hughes emphasised that the two countries already enjoy quite close relations. He added, however, that there have been 'differences in the past and there may be more in the future' although Russia and America have a number of 'diverse and positive' joint projects.
