Some 90 percent of the land in Russia has been inventoried, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov declared opening today's government meeting. The head of the government added that the inventory of land would enable the government to form a basis for increasing the efficiency of managing the country's land resources. The Prime Minister mentioned that some 130m hectares of land in Russia were not state owned, which was 7.5 percent of the total land area.
