Russia's inflation rate could be close to 12 percent by the end of this year, Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin told journalists today. He commented on the 4.1-percent inflation in Russia in January and February of 2003 and noted that this inflation rate was due to seasonal fluctuations. He believes that the Cabinet's forecast of a 10-12-percent inflation was quite realistic.
