Russia and Italy are planning to develop small and medium-sized business cooperation. According to Rosbalt's correspondent, this was announced on Monday, March 3 by Yevgeny Primakov, the head of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the General Assembly for Italian-Russian Commerce.
According to Primakov, in contrast to Russia, Italy has a wealth of experience in developing light industry: constructing modern footwear, fabric, and clothes factories. 'We will be able to receive Italian help in building up domestic industry,' believes Primakov. He said that new industrial zones are intended to be set up with Italian capital in the Moscow, Leningrad and Lipetsk Regions, and also in the Republic of Chuvashia. Primakov added that small and medium-sized Russian companies would be drawn to this work. A joint arbitration court is to be established in order to resolve disagreements at as early a stage as possible. Primakov stressed that the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry would assist the development of effective and dynamic cooperation between Russia and Italy.
