AvtoVAZ returned to full production yesterday. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the company press office, the working schedule has been restored in all the company's subdivisions.
Full production has returned due to the current stability of the domestic car market. According to the press office, the company is planning to produce 2,728 cars a day in March.
In autumn 2002 the AvtoVAZ factory had to reduce its working schedule as a result of a market crisis. However, by the middle of January dealers were already selling almost twice as many cars as there were on the retail market. The Niva model was the first to return to full production at the end of January. In 2002 the main AvtoVAZ line produced more than 700 thousand cars, more than 96 thousand of which were exported.
