The success of the London Economic Forum, which is scheduled for April 2 to 4, 2003, depends on how Russia will be able to protect its interests, President of the Russian Jewish Congress Yevgeny Satanovsky said in an interview with RBC. "It is important that both representatives of public authorities and large companies act as a well-coordinated team," he said. "Like there has been created the notion 'A Japanese corporation', the notion 'a Russian corporation' should emerge," the President of the Russian Jewish Congress pointed out.
According to Satanovsky, though Russian authorities and businessmen still have to learn to find a common language, the progress in this field is obvious. In his opinion, some Russian companies are already operating under international standards, providing for the transparency of their financial activities.
