On Saturday Chairman of the Russian Central Election Committee Alexander Veshnyakov and EU and OSCE representatives will head for Chechnya.
Veshnyakov and representatives of the international organisations will visit ballot places in different districts of Chechnya. They will also meet heads of the Chechen republican and territorial election committees and executive authority representatives.
The Head of the Central Election Committee will control the preparation for the Chechen Constitution referendum scheduled for March 23rd.
Representatives of the international organisations attended a Central Election Committee meeting held in Moscow the other day and devoted to preparations for the Chechen referendum. They expressed their willingness to learn more about the preparation on the scene of plebiscite.
Representatives of the European Union, the OSCE and the CIS Election Committee are expected to be present at the referendum as international observers.
