The net profit of Aeroflot, the major Russian airline, was $74.2m in 2002, according to Russian accounting standards, the airline's press service reported today. In 2003 Aeroflot is planning to increase its net profit up to $100m according to Russian accounting standards. As it was reported earlier, Aeroflot's net profit according to Russian accounting standards was RUR1.314bn ($43.6m)in 2001. The state holds a 51.17 percent stake on Aeroflot.
