Tasks of the Association "Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Community" Specified

The Association "Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Community" is designed to ensure cooperation between its supreme bodies and economic subjects, reported Association board chairman Alexander Protopopov.

In his words, taking part in the elaboration of mechanisms for implementing interstate decisions, the Association is orienting itself to the solution of specific problems against which enterprises come up in the Community environment.

Association Coordinating Council executive secretary Dmitry Agranov said, for his part, that the Council "can promptly inform the real sector of the economy and specific producers about the decisions adopted in the Eurasian Economic Community".

Oleg Soskovets is the chairman of the Coordinating Council of the Association "Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Community".

The Association has about 50 member-enterprises, which are united in sectoral guilds (Banks and Insurance Companies, Transport, Construction etc.) The plans of the Association "Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Community" include the organization of its own representations in the Community member-states.

The Eurasian Economic Community includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. Moldova and Ukraine have the status of observers at this international economic organization.
