The advance in Russia's rating by Standard & Poor's will lead to the inflow of foreign investors to the Russian stock market and the increase in stock indices, Alexey Savatuygin, the Chairman of the National Association of Participants of the Stock Market (NAUFOR), told RBC. At the same time he added that it would not influence sentiments of Russian investors.
"The amount of money on the securities market will undoubtedly grow; moreover, the number of Russian securities in foreign investors' portfolios will increase", he said, pointing out that the two-point advance in Russia's rating was a surprise for the market.
