A conference entitled 'International Relations and Problems of Globalisation' has opened today in St. Petersburg. According to Rosbalt's correspondent, participants in the conference include representatives from the Russian Foreign Ministry, American diplomats and researchers, and academics from the Russian Academy of Sciences and St. Petersburg State University. The topics for discussion include problems such as migration and globalisation, the future of the 'North-South' conflict, Russia's economic strategy in the 21st century, and the changing interpretation of international security. The conference concludes tomorrow.
