In the coming days Russia's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will be submitted for consideration a list of priority objects to be restored in Chechnya next year. This list was discussed on Wednesday at a meeting of Minister for Chechen Affairs Stanislav Ilyasov with state contractors participating in realization of the federal program on Chechen economy restoration.
Restoration of social facilities and dwelling houses will be a priority in 2003, Ilyasov's representative told journalists.
This year a total of 4.5 billion roubles from the federal budget have been spent to restore Chechnya. Next year the sum will be smaller - 3.5 billion roubles (about 109 million dollars). The Russian government stated that the reduction would not tell on the restoration program.
