Capital investments in the Ryazan oil refinery have amounted to $180m in 2002, Semyon Kukes, the President of the Tyumen Oil Company (TNK), declared at a presentation of the system of quality control at filling stations today. He pointed out that last year the company invested $150m in this refinery. The company's policy concerning the enterprise's restructuring and investments in it will not change in the next 2-3 years, Kukes noted. The production of diesel fuel and gasoline of European quality is to be started at the refinery in 2004.
The Ryazan oil refinery company (the branch of the TNK) processed 8.455m tons of oil in the first 10 months of 2002.
