President Vladimir Putin hopes his forthcoming visit to the People's Republic of China will "advance bilateral relations to new horizons." While receiving Saturday in the Kremlin Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan, the Russian leader also stressed that bilateral relations were on the rise already now.
In Putin's words, the Russian delegation is getting prepared for the visit and is looking forward to an opportunity to meet the new Chinese leadership.
The Russian head of state thanked the PRC leadership for its position on the sensible issue of combating terrorism. On behalf of Russians, the president expressed gratitude "for the sympathy and support during the act of terrorism in Moscow."
