Vice-premier of the Russian government and finance minister Alexei Kudrin believes that to prevent aggressive actions of anti-globalists it is necessary to conduct an active dialogue with them.
The vice-premier said this to journalists in Delhi where a meeting of finance ministers of the Group of 20 industrialised countries and those with the transitional economies is being held. The issues of globalisation and its consequences are one of the topics for discussion at the meeting.
Kudrin believes that the actions of the anti-globalists are a "spontaneous, chaotic and not though-out reaction." He is sure that it is necessary to thoroughly and seriously think over the consequences of globalisation and prevent its negative aftermaths.
Kudrin is convinced that it is also necessary to use to the maximum the positive experience of globalisation which, doubtlessly, excels the negative elements. A special attention, the minister believes, should be paid to softening the social consequences of globalisation.
