Surgutneftegaz posts assets under US GAAP
Assets of the Surgutneftegaz oil and gas company advanced by 14.5 percent in 2001 under US GAAP and reached $11.897bn, the press service of the company reported. The company's fixed assets connected with oil and gas exploration and production, gained 17. 2 percent in the reported period to $3.234bn; other fixed assets increased by 14.8 percent and reached $3.033bn.
